The revival of India's famous international motoring event, originally run from 1980 to 1990. It is organised by Team Firefox and presented by Uttarakhand Tourism with support from the Government of Uttarakhand.

One of the world's most respected endurance rallies, with passes up to 14,000 feet. It ran for eleven editions, drew over 120 entries per edition, and attracted factory teams from Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Opel, Mazda and Maruti. It was the brainchild of the late Nazir Hoosein, and four-time champion Jayant Shah became a household name through it.

A four-day event run over three legs in a cloverleaf pattern. Total distance, including special stages, will not exceed 1,500 km.

It is an ASN (FMSCI) sanctioned national event with international participation.

Yes. The first 50 overseas entries get round-trip container shipping from the UK, Europe (Antwerp), Kenya (Mombasa), Thailand and Malaysian ports. The subsidy is on an FOB basis, and the organisers cover costs from the port of origin to the Indian port and on to the Service Park in Dehradun.

Carnet costs, return customs clearance at the port of origin, all port of origin charges (destuffing, CFS and the like), local transport from the port to the warehouse if applicable, and terminal handling charges. Car transit insurance from the port of origin to the Indian port must also be arranged by the competitor.
